TIA to open for 18 hours daily

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has extended the operating hours of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by two hours starting from April 1st, 2025.

The new operating hours are from 6 am to 12 pm, allowing for increased flight operations and enhancing passenger convenience within the airport premises.

The extension includes an additional hour in the morning (6 am to 7 am) to facilitate more domestic and mountain flights, and an extra hour at night (11 pm to 12 pm) to facilitate international flights.

Thus, Everest Mountain flight from Kathmandu now operates at 6 am daily.
